We are all home and alive and I haven't gotten any phone calls yet telling me that I forgot a student in Florida. What a great week. I can't wait to see the long term affects this week is going to have on our students. Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement. It meant a ton. Over the next few weeks, I would love to hear from you parents about the change you have maybe seen in your students. We use these stories for fuel during hard times and as encouragement that God is on our side and in charge. As promised, here is a list of the adults who also made this trip possible. When my daughter, Racquel, was telling her best friend about camp, the first thing I heard her say was "you should go to camp next year because you can grow closer to the Lord" and then of course she went on to tell her about all the fun stuff too. But it was awesome to hear first about the Lord and then the fun. Thank you to all the counselers who made this camp a really special time for my kids.
I don't think I know you but you're the first hit for my brother's name. Just thought it was crazy that there are more Schmuckers in the world than I know of.
